On July 20, 2013 our first grandson, Joseph Wixom Daily was born. He came into this world on a Saturday afternoon around 5:00 P.M.  He has loving parents and two darling, perhaps bossy, sisters.  He is healthy and lovely.  He is a lucky boy!  I can’t get over how beautiful this baby is. He has darling little features and is so calm and sweet.  I’m frustrated because my life is so busy and all I really want to do is to hold him, peer into his face for memorization, take in his baby smell and kiss and kiss him.  Joe and I drove down from the Tetons Saturday night so we could see and hold him on Sunday, then we drove back up and on Tuesday his sisters would join us for the reminder of the week.  We got to hold Jojo and then watch as the nurse gave him his first bath. Mary, going through childbirth, is the most amazing woman I have ever met.  She seems to make it look easy.  What is more, she is the perfect pregnant person, she is all baby so she looks fantastic as soon as baby is born.  She was standing when the nurse came in and the nurse had to ask “Where is the mom?”.  I loved it.  I thought that was the greatest compliment to Mary.  We feel so incredibly blessed to have this baby in our lives and to get to be part of his influence in life!  We love him so much!
